For the Hazardous Waste Incineration Plants Kumera offers a wide range of equipment. The Kumera package includes Feeding Equipment, Rotary Kiln, Secondary Combustion Chamber and Slag Conveyor.

The feeding devices for solid waste and barrels are installed in the water-cooled front wall of the Rotary Kiln, operating at high temperatures of 1100-1300 °C. The flue gases resulting from incineration of wastes flow into the Secondary Combustion Chamber. 

Substances that have not reacted completely in the Rotary Kiln continue their reaction in the Secondary Combustion Chamber. Such unburnt gases and solid particles are mainly formed towards the end of the Rotary Kiln, since the residence time there is too short to allow the substances to completely burn out in the kiln.

When the flue gases leave the Secondary Combustion Chamber, they are completely burnt according to the environmental legislation of the country where the plant is located.
